We provide IP connectivity to the global Internet through our autonomous system, at the port speed, committed rate and interface stated in the Service Order, delivered at the demarcation point identified there. Our routing is visible through our public BGP looking glass. The Service includes IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity and standard DNS resolution; other features are as stated in the Service Order.
BGP. Where the Service Order provides for BGP, we exchange routes with your autonomous system at the demarcation. You may receive full routes, partial routes or a default route as stated in the Service Order. You will announce only prefixes you are authorized to originate or carry; every announced prefix must have a matching route object in an Internet routing registry we recognize, and we filter announcements accordingly. We strongly encourage, and may require, valid RPKI route origin authorizations for your announcements; we drop RPKI-invalid announcements.
Static. Where the Service Order provides for static routing, you will point a default route at us, and we will statically route your registered, aggregated prefixes. Static changes are made on request during business hours and are not automatic.
Where a Service is billed on a burstable (95th percentile) basis: we sample inbound and outbound traffic on your port at approximately five-minute intervals throughout the billing month; for each sample the greater of inbound or outbound is retained; the retained samples are sorted and the top five percent are discarded; the highest remaining sample, rounded up to the nearest Mbps, is the sustained rate for the month. You are billed the committed rate in advance and any excess of the sustained rate over the committed rate in arrears, at the rates in the Service Order.
You may use your own registry-assigned address space and autonomous system number, and are responsible for keeping your registry records accurate. Where we assign addresses from our space, they are licensed for the term of the Service, are not portable, and are returned on termination. You warrant that you are authorized to use all number resources you ask us to route or announce.
Availability, latency, packet loss and repair commitments for the Service, and the credits that apply when they are missed, are as stated in the Service Order. Credits are your sole remedy for the failures those commitments measure. Planned maintenance performed within announced maintenance windows, force majeure events, faults on your side of the demarcation, and faults of third-party networks beyond our reasonable control are excluded from availability measurement.
You may use the Service to serve your End Users, including as upstream capacity for access services you provide on your own network. Your End Users' traffic is your traffic for all purposes of this Schedule, including routing registration, abuse handling and the Acceptable Use Policy.
We may apply reasonable network protection measures — including filtering spoofed source addresses, rate-limiting attack traffic, and null-routing a destination address under active attack — where an attack directed at or originating from your network materially threatens our network or other customers. We will notify you when we apply such measures to your Service and remove them as soon as reasonably practicable. Optional DDoS mitigation services, where offered, are as described in the Service Order.
